Dot said Lee will be missed by all who knew her. In a strange way Lee will also be missed by those of us who never really personally knew her. I only ever met Lee once in all my time at Bellshill, but through George I felt that I knew her quite well, Lee sent a lovely letter to the kids at 'X Factor' it was one of the most inspirational messages that I have ever read. She hardly ever mentioned her own state of health, but instead she was leading us in prayer through her letter for the other people of the corps, her letter touched the hearts of the 'X Factor' kids and she will always hold a very special place in our hearts.

A couple of weeks ago, Lee's husband George approached me, he had an envelope which his freinds at his work(Air Liquide UK Limited) had sent him. In the envelope was a letter.
The letter explained that George's workmates had collected some money and George had been asked to forward this collection on to 'The Kids at 'X' Factor'at Bellshill Salvation Army.
We have asked the kids what they would like to do with the donation, and they are still deliberating on this issue.
One thing that is for sure is that it will be used to buy something that will be a perminant reminder of Lee's support to the group.
As has been mentioned before although Lee never physically met 'X' Factor she has had a profound effect on them all, her name often crops up in our conversations and our prayers.
George often mentions that Lee is 'still working' even after her promotion to glory, he tells us of the people who still knit babies wollen clothes to support one of Lee's many worthwhile causes, he speaks about people who he dosn't even know, stopping him in the street and talking to him about the effect Lee has had on their lives, I think George is right when he says that Lee is 'still working', Lee is working in all the lives of the people that she touched, and I know she is certainly still working in the hearts and minds of the kids at 'X' Factor.
Lee wil always be remembered by the kids,and many others, but watch this space to see what 'X' Factor decide to use to mark such a remarkable life.
