Andrea's Tribute to Lee

As always in situations such as this, I feel inadequate to pay tribute to someone everyone else has known alot longer than me. All I can say is I am glad Lee touched my life. She was so good to me and the family two years ago, when I had surgery for cancer. Every time we met, she would not answer my questions about her health, until she was satisfied we were all okay. She was so unselfish, so grateful for all God was doing in her life, so full of hope, despite the frustrations of her illness and profound sadness that she could not physically be part of the corps fellowship in the way she wanted. I am so glad Solid Ground began when it did, and she could see her idea beginning to make a difference to the lives of others. We really do owe it to her memory to make it work, not just as a tribute, but so that it can reach its potential in helping people grow closer to God. That was always her prayer, and her desire was to input into the spiritual journey of others. Thanks Lee for helping me in mine.
