Psalm 8

I don't want to intrude on thoughts about Lee, but I think its also fitting to focus on God's goodness. The Solid Ground group were asked to learn part of Psalm 8 to recite somewhere over the summer when they were in awe of God's creation. Here is mine. Lake Garda was one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. One evening I went for a walk and just enjoyed standing and looking around. I felt very close to God in that moment. Although the picture does not do justice to the scene, here it is anyway.

'When I consider your Heavens, made by your fingers, the moon and stars that you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him? The son of man that you care for him? Yet you have made him alittle lower than the angels, you have crowned him with glory and splendour, made him lord over the works of your hands, put all things under his feet. O Lord, our God, how majestic is your name in all the earth'
